Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Real Estate Development and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 7.55% or 1.60 points to trade at 22.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 5.81% or 1.40 points to end at 25.50 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was up 4.69% or 1.03 points to 23.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which fell 4.79% or 1.38 points to trade at 27.45 at the close. Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) declined 4.19% or 0.85 points to end at 19.46 and Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) was down 4.11% or 1.93 points to 45.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 109 to 61 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.79% or 1.38 to 27.45.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.60% or 0.81 to $51.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.65% or 0.93 to hit $57.18 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 8.90 to trade at $1305.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.05% to 4.4337, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 92.92.
