Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Energy & Utilities and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 10.00% or 2.20 points to trade at 24.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) added 9.54% or 1.32 points to end at 15.16 and Anb Insurance (SE:8011) was up 4.33% or 0.80 points to 19.28 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which fell 5.71% or 2.20 points to trade at 36.35 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) declined 4.18% or 0.74 points to end at 16.98 and Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) was down 4.14% or 1.55 points to 35.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 115 to 56 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $61.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.14% or 0.10 to hit $71.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1226.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.00% to 4.2852, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 96.04.
