Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Telecoms & IT and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:4031), which rose 8.45% or 2.45 points to trade at 31.45 at the close. Meanwhile, The Qassim Cement Co (TADAWUL:3040) added 5.39% or 3.70 points to end at 72.40 and Jabal Omar Development Company (TADAWUL:4250) was up 4.08% or 0.98 points to 25.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200), which fell 4.82% or 0.96 points to trade at 18.94 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210) declined 4.22% or 7.80 points to end at 177.00 and Saudi Telecom (TADAWUL:7010) was down 2.40% or 1.05 points to 42.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 129 to 129 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.99% or 2.22 to $72.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.72% or 2.13 to hit $76.23 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 15.55 to trade at $1,949.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.22% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 104.07.
