Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Building & Construction and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084), which rose 10.00% or 2.26 points to trade at 24.86 at the close. Meanwhile, National Gypsum Company (TADAWUL:2090) added 4.90% or 0.98 points to end at 21.00 and Saudi Manpower Solutions Co (TADAWUL:1834) was up 3.09% or 0.21 points to 7.01 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240), which fell 10.00% or 4.80 points to trade at 43.20 at the close. Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) declined 8.21% or 11.20 points to end at 125.20 and Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322) was down 6.98% or 1.18 points to 15.72.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 222 to 94 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.87% or 1.81 to $61.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.75% or 1.82 to hit $64.27 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 3.66 to trade at $3,184.64 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.13% to 4.20, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 100.74.
