Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which rose 9.96% or 3.70 points to trade at 40.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) added 9.15% or 3.05 points to end at 36.40 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was up 5.38% or 1.50 points to 29.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which fell 3.61% or 0.52 points to trade at 13.90 at the close. Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) declined 3.53% or 0.68 points to end at 18.60 and Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE:2290) was down 2.17% or 1.20 points to 54.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 102 to 85 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.96% or 3.70 to 40.85. Shares in Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.15% or 3.05 to 36.40.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.34% or 0.58 to $42.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.65% or 0.76 to hit $45.40 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.21% or 23.60 to trade at $1928.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.48% to 4.4145, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 93.293.
