Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Multi Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.24% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142), which rose 10.00% or 11.80 points to trade at 129.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) added 6.34% or 0.17 points to end at 2.85 and Saudi Darb Investment Co (TADAWUL:4130) was up 5.88% or 0.02 points to 0.36 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071), which fell 5.12% or 7.00 points to trade at 129.80 at the close. Al Mawarid Manpower Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:1833) declined 4.48% or 6.00 points to end at 128.00 and Bawan (TADAWUL:1302) was down 3.83% or 1.80 points to 45.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 175 to 145 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.12% or 7.00 to 129.80.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.18% or 0.78 to $66.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.20% or 0.83 to hit $70.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 20.16 to trade at $2,919.56 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.76% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 103.35.
