Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Transport, Hotels & Tourism and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303), which rose 7.14% or 0.49 points to trade at 7.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Etisalat Co (TADAWUL:7020) added 5.47% or 3.10 points to end at 59.80 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (TADAWUL:7030) was up 3.70% or 0.40 points to 11.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co CJSC (TADAWUL:4263), which fell 7.93% or 21.80 points to trade at 253.20 at the close. Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050) declined 4.62% or 6.00 points to end at 124.00 and Nice One Beauty Digital Marketing (TADAWUL:4193) was down 4.53% or 3.10 points to 65.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 225 to 96 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Etihad Etisalat Co (TADAWUL:7020) rose to 5-year highs; up 5.47% or 3.10 to 59.80.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.82% or 0.59 to $72.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.69% or 0.52 to hit $76.36 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 5.21 to trade at $2,954.21 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.19% to 3.91, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 107.11.
