Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.11% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Darb Investment Co (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 8.33% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.39 at the close. Meanwhile, AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (TADAWUL:2320) added 7.08% or 2.75 points to end at 41.60 and ARTEX Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2340) was up 6.54% or 0.86 points to 14.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Investment Group (TADAWUL:2250), which fell 3.96% or 0.62 points to trade at 15.02 at the close. Savola Group (TADAWUL:2050) declined 3.54% or 1.15 points to end at 31.35 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) was down 3.27% or 11.20 points to 331.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 200 to 108 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Industrial Investment Group (TADAWUL:2250) fell to 3-years lows; falling 3.96% or 0.62 to 15.02.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.42% or 0.94 to $67.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.27% or 0.88 to hit $70.44 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 3.05 to trade at $2,923.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 103.58.
