Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:2140), which rose 4.67% or 0.78 points to trade at 17.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:2281) added 4.27% or 5.40 points to end at 132.00 and Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (TADAWUL:6060) was up 4.16% or 0.90 points to 22.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:4210), which fell 5.38% or 13.00 points to trade at 228.80 at the close. Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) declined 3.28% or 1.90 points to end at 56.00 and Savola Group (TADAWUL:2050) was down 2.84% or 1.10 points to 37.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 177 to 130 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.77% or 0.55 to $70.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.37% or 0.28 to hit $74.74 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.52% or 44.70 to trade at $2,900.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.25% to 3.93, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 106.58.
