Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.67% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010), which rose 9.96% or 4.80 points to trade at 53.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 9.91% or 1.10 points to end at 12.20 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was up 9.64% or 0.95 points to 10.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which fell 5.35% or 0.85 points to trade at 15.05 at the close. Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SE:6004) declined 2.70% or 3.00 points to end at 108.25 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) was down 2.47% or 0.70 points to 27.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 152 to 6 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.27% or 0.11 to $41.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.63% or 0.27 to hit $43.18 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.41% or 17.40 to trade at $1252.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.44% to 4.2621, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.39% at 94.08.
