Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Hotels & Tourism and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.88% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170), which rose 9.25% or 2.70 points to trade at 31.90 at the close. Meanwhile, National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) added 8.03% or 2.40 points to end at 32.30 and Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) was up 7.26% or 2.20 points to 32.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240), which fell 2.41% or 0.90 points to trade at 36.40 at the close. Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) declined 1.27% or 0.20 points to end at 15.50 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) was down 1.23% or 0.10 points to 8.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 22 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.96% or 0.44 to $46.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.91% or 0.44 to hit $48.68 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.81% or 9.60 to trade at $1188.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 3.9712, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.01% at 101.49.
