Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financial Services, Real Estate Development and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.87% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 10.43% or 1.20 points to trade at 12.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) added 8.72% or 0.75 points to end at 9.35 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was up 6.38% or 0.30 points to 5.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SABB Takaful (SE:8080), which fell 3.26% or 0.70 points to trade at 20.80 at the close. Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) declined 1.82% or 0.25 points to end at 13.50 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) was down 1.44% or 0.20 points to 13.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 105 to 40 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.14% or 0.56 to $49.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.34% or 0.67 to hit $50.65 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.38% or 4.85 to trade at $1271.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.07% to 4.0958, while USD/SAR fell 0.04% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 98.59.
