Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Real Estate Development and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 5.59% or 0.40 points to trade at 7.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) added 4.38% or 0.80 points to end at 19.05 and Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) was up 3.80% or 0.75 points to 20.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which fell 2.82% or 0.100 points to trade at 3.450 at the close. Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) declined 2.52% or 0.40 points to end at 15.45 and Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) was down 2.15% or 0.70 points to 31.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 110 to 38 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.62% or 0.33 to $52.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.57% or 0.32 to hit $55.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.25 to trade at $1226.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.21% to 3.9585, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 101.44.
