Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Insurance and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.35% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010), which rose 6.67% or 2.10 points to trade at 33.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007) added 4.84% or 2.00 points to end at 43.30 and Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) was up 3.64% or 0.75 points to 21.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which fell 4.40% or 1.60 points to trade at 34.80 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 3.70% or 0.150 points to end at 3.900 and Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) was down 3.16% or 0.70 points to 21.45.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 91 to 58 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.67% or 2.10 to 33.60.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.70% or 0.36 to $51.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.74% or 0.40 to hit $54.76 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.25 to trade at $1254.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.02% to 3.9984, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 100.50.
