Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Building & Construction and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:4100), which rose 4.64% or 5.00 points to trade at 112.75 at the close. Meanwhile, National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) added 3.99% or 1.10 points to end at 28.70 and Taiba Holding Co. (SE:4090) was up 3.44% or 1.50 points to 45.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331), which fell 2.92% or 0.65 points to trade at 21.60 at the close. Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) declined 2.05% or 1.25 points to end at 59.75 and Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) was down 1.98% or 0.50 points to 24.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 77 to 70 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:4100) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.64% or 5.00 to 112.75. Shares in Taiba Holding Co. (SE:4090) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.44% or 1.50 to 45.10.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.54% or 0.27 to $50.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.83% or 0.44 to hit $53.56 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.25 to trade at $1259.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.15% to 3.9962, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 100.52.
