Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Insurance and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010), which rose 5.88% or 2.00 points to trade at 36.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 5.13% or 0.63 points to end at 12.90 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (SE:2240) was up 3.69% or 2.17 points to 61.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290), which fell 7.96% or 4.84 points to trade at 56.00 at the close. Halwani Bros (SE:6001) declined 3.91% or 3.60 points to end at 88.50 and Saudi Arabia Fertilizers Co. (SE:2020) was down 3.05% or 3.71 points to 118.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 99 to 66.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.61% or 0.85 to $51.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.03% or 1.20 to hit $57.80 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.58% or 6.70 to trade at $1151.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 1.02% to 4.1415, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.80% at 96.73.
