Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Retail, Insurance and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which rose 10.34% or 3.00 points to trade at 32.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) added 9.23% or 4.20 points to end at 49.70 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was up 6.39% or 0.85 points to 14.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which fell 6.03% or 1.35 points to trade at 21.05 at the close. Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080) declined 3.58% or 0.65 points to end at 17.50 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was down 3.17% or 0.300 points to 9.150.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 94 to 56 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.16% or 0.08 to $49.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $52.42 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.33% or 17.17 to trade at $1271.93 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.35% to 4.0765, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 98.90.
