Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Building & Construction and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which rose 8.33% or 0.30 points to trade at 3.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) added 4.38% or 2.15 points to end at 51.25 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was up 4.24% or 0.60 points to 14.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250), which fell 2.12% or 0.40 points to trade at 18.45 at the close. Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) declined 1.61% or 1.25 points to end at 76.25 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) was down 1.58% or 0.25 points to 15.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 109 to 46 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.41% or 0.19 to $46.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.43% or 0.21 to hit $48.89 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.79 to trade at $1231.69 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.44% to 4.1071, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 98.78.
