Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Transport and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which rose 8.30% or 2.10 points to trade at 27.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) added 5.31% or 0.85 points to end at 16.85 and Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) was up 3.95% or 0.95 points to 25.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which fell 5.04% or 0.35 points to trade at 6.60 at the close. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) declined 3.33% or 0.35 points to end at 10.15 and National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) was down 3.30% or 1.75 points to 51.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 81 to 63 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.03% or 0.54 to $52.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.80% or 0.44 to hit $55.56 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.55 to trade at $1242.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.05% to 4.0096, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 100.20.
