Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Transport and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 3.66%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300), which rose 10.00% or 6.00 points to trade at 66.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:2230) added 9.99% or 0.75 points to end at 8.26 and Ataa Educational Co (TADAWUL:4292) was up 9.95% or 6.30 points to 69.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291), which fell 0.86% or 1.40 points to trade at 160.60 at the close. Sedco Capital REIT (TADAWUL:4344) declined 0.55% or 0.04 points to end at 7.29 and Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6070) was down 0.22% or 0.10 points to 46.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 313 to 29 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sedco Capital REIT (TADAWUL:4344) fell to 5-year lows; down 0.55% or 0.04 to 7.29.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 3.02% or 1.88 to $60.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.92% or 1.91 to hit $63.57 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.17% or 66.86 to trade at $3,146.26 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.49% to 4.17, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.04% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.24% at 101.35.
