Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Financial Services and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.38% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Astra Industrial Group (SE:1212), which rose 5.20% or 2.05 points to trade at 41.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200) added 3.86% or 5.60 points to end at 150.80 and The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150) was up 3.81% or 1.55 points to 42.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Derayah REIT (SE:4339), which fell 2.50% or 0.32 points to trade at 12.48 at the close. AlAhli Fund of REITs (SE:4338) declined 1.67% or 0.20 points to end at 11.80 and CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (SE:8240) was down 1.59% or 0.60 points to 37.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 177 to 35 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.02% or 0.77 to $76.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.92% or 0.72 to hit $78.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 4.75 to trade at $1813.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.27% to 4.2413, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7561.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 96.265.
