Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291), which rose 8.84% or 13.00 points to trade at 160.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mutakamela Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8040) added 7.18% or 1.02 points to end at 15.22 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) was up 6.77% or 21.00 points to 331.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110), which fell 9.80% or 0.24 points to trade at 2.21 at the close. Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:4020) declined 6.02% or 1.30 points to end at 20.30 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) was down 5.71% or 1.90 points to 31.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 186 to 141 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.80% or 0.24 to 2.21.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.23% or 1.38 to $60.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.09% or 1.37 to hit $64.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 7.54 to trade at $3,042.94 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.12, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.07% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 102.61.
