Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Agriculture & Food and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.05% to hit a new 3-years high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which rose 10.00% or 0.52 points to trade at 5.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 9.93% or 1.38 points to end at 15.28 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 9.92% or 1.30 points to 14.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280), which fell 1.79% or 0.60 points to trade at 33.00 at the close. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) declined 1.45% or 0.36 points to end at 24.48 and Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304) was down 1.03% or 0.20 points to 19.14.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 134 to 44 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.22% or 0.13 to $58.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.22% or 0.15 to hit $67.31 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.85 to trade at $1305.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.25% to 4.2561, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 95.915.
