Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Transport and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230), which rose 10.00% or 3.70 points to trade at 40.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303) added 9.88% or 0.57 points to end at 6.34 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) was up 9.86% or 3.15 points to 35.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300), which fell 2.73% or 1.80 points to trade at 64.20 at the close. National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005) declined 2.05% or 3.20 points to end at 153.00 and Saudi Darb Investment Co (TADAWUL:4130) was down 2.00% or 0.07 points to 3.43.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 259 to 70 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.38% or 1.43 to $61.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.26% or 1.43 to hit $64.76 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.11% or 67.10 to trade at $3,244.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.46% to 4.26, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 99.89.
