Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Retail and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.63% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040), which rose 9.91% or 1.74 points to trade at 19.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Centres Co (SE:4321) added 4.22% or 0.92 points to end at 22.70 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) was up 3.99% or 2.10 points to 54.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund (SE:4342), which fell 4.98% or 0.54 points to trade at 10.30 at the close. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) declined 4.18% or 0.50 points to end at 11.46 and Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) was down 3.51% or 1.05 points to 28.85.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 97 to 82 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.08% or 0.41 to $38.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.06% or 0.43 to hit $41.14 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 8.15 to trade at $1727.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.15% to 4.2105, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 97.278.
