Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financial Services, Hotels & Tourism and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 9.91% or 4.00 points to trade at 44.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:8312) added 9.70% or 1.28 points to end at 14.48 and Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) was up 7.67% or 31.00 points to 435.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bindawood Holding Co (TADAWUL:4161), which fell 2.96% or 1.60 points to trade at 52.50 at the close. Nahdi Medical Co (TADAWUL:4164) declined 2.48% or 4.60 points to end at 181.00 and Gulf Insurance Group (TADAWUL:8250) was down 2.44% or 0.70 points to 28.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 118 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.91% or 4.00 to 44.35. Shares in Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) rose to all time highs; rising 7.67% or 31.00 to 435.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.39% or 0.93 to $66.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.18% or 0.86 to hit $72.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.15 to trade at $1,972.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.49% to 4.03, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 103.03.
