Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.30% to hit a new 3-years high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260), which rose 7.12% or 0.84 points to trade at 12.64 at the close. Meanwhile, Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:3020) added 5.58% or 0.92 points to end at 17.40 and Umm Al-Qura (SE:3005) was up 3.15% or 0.40 points to 13.08 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which fell 3.47% or 0.84 points to trade at 23.36 at the close. Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) declined 3.02% or 0.60 points to end at 19.30 and Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) was down 2.87% or 2.20 points to 74.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 87 to 74 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:3020) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.58% or 0.92 to 17.40.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.60% or 0.38 to $63.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.67% or 0.48 to hit $72.02 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.35 to trade at $1283.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.32% to 4.2075, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 97.262.
