Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Transport and Multi Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.28% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8260), which rose 9.97% or 0.69 points to trade at 7.61 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (TADAWUL:4070) added 9.07% or 8.00 points to end at 96.20 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) was up 4.59% or 0.34 points to 7.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (TADAWUL:2120), which fell 3.12% or 1.00 points to trade at 31.05 at the close. Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160) declined 2.57% or 1.10 points to end at 41.65 and Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:4012) was down 2.38% or 0.95 points to 38.95.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 131 to 111 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.12% or 0.10 to $81.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.18% or 0.16 to hit $88.03 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 2.40 to trade at $1,931.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.02% to 4.08, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 101.88.
