Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Building & Construction and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370), which rose 10.53% or 0.70 points to trade at 7.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) added 7.59% or 0.60 points to end at 8.50 and Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330) was up 6.81% or 0.65 points to 10.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007), which fell 2.74% or 1.00 points to trade at 35.50 at the close. National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) declined 2.69% or 1.15 points to end at 41.55 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) was down 2.68% or 0.42 points to 15.28.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 86 to 85 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.68% or 0.42 to 15.28.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.13% or 0.56 to $50.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.56% or 0.82 to hit $53.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 11.51 to trade at $1290.81 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.4029, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 93.44.
