Trump slaps 30% tariffs on EU, Mexico
Investing.com – Russia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as in the sectors led shares .
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia Index unchanged 0.00%.
The best performers of the session on the MOEX Russia Index were Federal Hydro Generating Company RusHydro PJSC (MCX:HYDR), which rose 2.43% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.47 at the close. Meanwhile, Aeroflot PJSC (MCX:AFLT) added 0.79% or 0.51 points to end at 65.06 and Moskovskaya Birzha PJSC (MCX:MOEX) was up 0.75% or 1.42 points to 190.79 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were PIK SHb PJSC (MCX:PIKK), which fell 1.83% or 9.90 points to trade at 531.50 at the close. Moskovskiy Kreditnyi Bank PAO (MCX:CBOM) declined 0.94% or 0.06 points to end at 6.32 and Magnitogorskiy Metallurgicheskiy Kombinat PAO (MCX:MAGN) was down 0.65% or 0.21 points to 31.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 72 to 34 and 3 ended unchanged.
The Russian Volatility Index – RVI, which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, was unchanged 0.00% to 42.86.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.84% or 28.50 to $3,346.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 1.91% or 1.21 to hit $64.58 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract rose 1.73% or 1.13 to trade at $66.47 a barrel.
USD/RUB was up 2.07% to 78.85, while EUR/RUB rose 1.63% to 89.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 99.14.
