Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 lost 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Montepio (LS:MPIO), which rose 2.44% or 0.010 points to trade at 0.419 at the close. Meanwhile, Nos SGPS SA (LS:NOS) added 1.08% or 0.0580 points to end at 5.4250 and Ibersol SGPS (LS:IBS) was up 0.90% or 0.130 points to 14.535 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA), which fell 1.85% or 0.0050 points to trade at 0.2650 at the close. Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) declined 1.51% or 0.0410 points to end at 2.6770 and Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP) was down 1.09% or 0.0025 points to 0.2277.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 21 to 13 and 6 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was up 1.05% or 0.54 to $52.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 1.47% or 0.72 to hit $49.62 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 9.77 to trade at $1266.17 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.32% to 1.1174, while EUR/GBP rose 0.82% to 0.8732.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 97.39.
