Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI declined 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were Galp Energia Nom (ELI:GALP), which rose 1.51% or 0.25 points to trade at 16.80 at the close. Meanwhile, The Navigator Company SA (ELI:NVGR) added 0.99% or 0.04 points to end at 3.69 and CTT Correios de Portugal SA (ELI:CTT) was up 0.23% or 0.01 points to 4.39 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA (ELI:JMT), which fell 2.16% or 0.39 points to trade at 17.64 at the close. Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI:MOTA) declined 1.38% or 0.04 points to end at 2.57 and Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:BCP) was 0.81% or 0.00 points to 0.41.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 18 to 13 and 4 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.01% or 0.72 to $72.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.00% or 0.68 to hit $68.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 12.05 to trade at $2,656.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.19% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.35% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 100.37.
