Investing.com – Philippines stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Property, Industrials and Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Philippines, the PSEi Composite added 1.48% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the PSEi Composite were Aboitiz Power Corp (PS:AP), which rose 6.30% or 2.90 points to trade at 48.90 at the close. Meanwhile, International Container Terminal Services Inc (PS:ICT) added 4.81% or 2.800 points to end at 61.000 and Bloomberry Resorts Corp (PS:BLOOM) was up 4.69% or 0.220 points to 4.910 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Philex Mining Corp (PS:PX), which fell 1.21% or 0.090 points to trade at 7.350 at the close. Globe Telecom Inc (PS:GLO) declined 0.33% or 8.000 points to end at 2400.000 and SM Investments Corp (PS:SM) was down 0.20% or 2.000 points to 980.000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Philippines Stock Exchange by 123 to 80 and 37 ended unchanged.

Gold for August delivery was down 0.30% or 3.70 to $1243.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.30% or 0.15 to hit $49.84 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract rose 0.34% or 0.17 to trade at $50.72 a barrel.
CNY/PHP was down 0.30% to 7.0156, while USD/PHP fell 0.18% to 46.105.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 93.86.
