Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Services, Electricity and Mining sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General gained 0.38% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Minera Irl (LM:IRL), which unchanged 4.17% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.07 at the close. Meanwhile, Trevali Mining (LM:TV) added 3.12% or 0.030 points to end at 0.990 and Buenaventura (LM:BVN) was up 2.86% or 0.320 points to 11.520 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were PPX Mining Corp (LM:PPX), which unchanged 8.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.05 at the close. Atacocha (LM:ATB) declined 3.70% or 0.010 points to end at 0.260 and Minsur (LM:MINi) was down 0.73% or 0.010 points to 1.350.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 15 to 6 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $47.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $49.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.03 to trade at $1224.23 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.2555, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.6955.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 95.99.
