Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Food & Beverages, Non-Metal Minerals and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General rose 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Volcan Compania Minera SAA (LM:VOLa), which rose 7.41% or 0.160 points to trade at 2.320 at the close. Meanwhile, Corporacion Aceros Arequipa SA (LM:ARE) added 4.48% or 0.030 points to end at 0.700 and Grana Y Monter (LM:GRA) was up 4.48% or 0.090 points to 2.100 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Minera Irl (LM:IRL), which unchanged 3.64% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.11 at the close. Sider (LM:SID) declined 2.68% or 0.011 points to end at 0.400 and Cem Pacasmayo (LM:CPA) was down 1.35% or 0.100 points to 7.300.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 18 to 10 and 8 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.91% or 0.46 to $50.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.07% or 0.57 to hit $53.70 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1247.40 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.02% to 3.2485, while EUR/PEN rose 0.14% to 3.4757.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 100.42.
