Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Mining, Food & Beverages and Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General rose 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Trevali Mining (LM:TV), which rose 4.17% or 0.040 points to trade at 1.000 at the close. Meanwhile, Casa Grande (LM:CSG) added 2.94% or 0.200 points to end at 7.000 and Ferreyros (LM:FER) was up 1.63% or 0.030 points to 1.870 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sociedad Minera el Brocal SAA (LM:BRO), which fell 4.54% or 0.400 points to trade at 8.400 at the close. Cem Pacasmayo (LM:CPA) declined 3.47% or 0.230 points to end at 6.400 and Unacem (LM:CEL) was down 2.27% or 0.050 points to 2.150.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 14 to 6 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.06% or 0.03 to $48.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $51.42 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.45 to trade at $1203.85 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.2840, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.5055.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 101.26.
