Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which rose 2.93% or 0.40 points to trade at 14.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 2.45% or 0.06 points to end at 2.42 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) was up 1.45% or 24.50 points to 1,712.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Var Energi ASA (OL:VAR), which fell 2.81% or 0.84 points to trade at 29.10 at the close. TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) declined 2.78% or 2.35 points to end at 82.30 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) was down 2.42% or 3.00 points to 120.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 190 to 92 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.32% or 0.20 to $61.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.34% or 0.22 to hit $65.19 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.55% or 49.49 to trade at $3,236.79 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.31% to 11.59, while USD/NOK fell 0.59% to 10.30.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.80% at 100.14.
