Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Insurance, Diversified Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 5.70% or 0.04 points to trade at 0.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 1.10% or 3.4 points to end at 311.3 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 1.06% or 2.10 points to 201.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 2.62% or 1.60 points to trade at 59.45 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 2.61% or 1.16 points to end at 43.25 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) was down 2.19% or 3.0 points to 134.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 100 to 73 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.21% or 0.11 to $51.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.37% or 0.22 to hit $59.69 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.70 to trade at $1226.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.05% to 9.7281, while USD/NOK rose 0.68% to 8.5918.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 97.083.
