Wells Fargo: Tesla’s short-term lift doesn’t resolve long-term concerns
Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 1.16% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC), which rose 4.44% or 8.00 points to trade at 188.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 4.19% or 0.10 points to end at 2.49 and TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was up 3.72% or 3.10 points to 86.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO), which fell 3.23% or 3.00 points to trade at 90.00 at the close. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) declined 2.07% or 3.75 points to end at 177.75 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was down 1.10% or 1.70 points to 153.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 156 to 119 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.15% or 0.75 to $66.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.07% or 0.72 to hit $67.76 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 6.55 to trade at $3,348.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.38% to 11.52, while USD/NOK rose 0.34% to 10.08.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 98.99.
