Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO), which rose 5.38% or 10.70 points to trade at 209.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) added 3.66% or 2.20 points to end at 62.25 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) was up 3.55% or 3.85 points to 112.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which fell 1.06% or 1.20 points to trade at 111.80 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) declined 0.96% or 1.60 points to end at 164.60 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) was down 0.90% or 12.00 points to 1,326.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 177 to 105 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.37% or 0.27 to $72.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.38% or 0.29 to hit $76.25 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 8.86 to trade at $2,865.96 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.30% to 11.68, while USD/NOK fell 0.68% to 11.24.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.95% at 107.85.
