Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Commercial Service And Supplies and Media sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Storebrand ASA (OL:STB), which rose 2.35% or 1.25 points to trade at 54.24 at the close. Meanwhile, Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 1.84% or 1.10 points to end at 60.85 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was up 1.62% or 3.1 points to 194.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which fell 4.77% or 4.35 points to trade at 86.90 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 4.35% or 1.19 points to end at 26.48 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 1.55% or 3.5 points to 222.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 95 to 84 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.47% or 0.21 to $44.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.66% or 0.31 to hit $47.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.01 to trade at $1256.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.16% to 9.4660, while USD/NOK fell 0.59% to 8.4580.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 97.18.
