Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.19% or 0.09 to $47.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.45% or 0.24 to hit $52.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.72 to trade at $1328.92 a troy ounce.
EUR/NGN was up 0.65% to 427.190, while USD/NGN rose 0.56% to 357.000.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 92.77.
