Investing.com’s stocks of the week
Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Basic Materials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX fell 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were NN Group NV (AS:NN), which rose 1.12% or 0.60 points to trade at 54.08 at the close. Meanwhile, Heineken (AS:HEIN) added 0.16% or 0.12 points to end at 77.02 and Adyen NV (AS:ADYEN) was down 0.07% or 1.20 points to 1,619.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSM Firmenich AG (AS:DSFIR), which fell 1.98% or 1.96 points to trade at 96.90 at the close. Exor NV (AS:EXOR) declined 1.46% or 1.25 points to end at 84.55 and Randstad NV (AS:RAND) was down 1.39% or 0.52 points to 36.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 56 to 41 and 13 ended unchanged.
The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.10% or 1.28 to $62.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.71% or 1.09 to hit $64.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 7.01 to trade at $3,321.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.13, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 99.82.
