Investing.com’s stocks of the week
Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX fell 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were IMCD NV (AS:IMCD), which rose 1.46% or 1.75 points to trade at 121.50 at the close. Meanwhile, ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) added 0.90% or 0.24 points to end at 26.90 and ASML Holding NV (AS:ASML) was up 0.83% or 5.70 points to 690.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSM Firmenich AG (AS:DSFIR), which fell 2.04% or 2.02 points to trade at 96.98 at the close. BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:BESI) declined 1.54% or 1.85 points to end at 118.45 and Wolters Kluwer (AS:WLSNc) was down 1.36% or 2.10 points to 152.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 51 to 50 and 10 ended unchanged.
The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.55% or 1.66 to $66.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.20% or 1.47 to hit $68.34 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 9.90 to trade at $3,353.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.53% to 1.15, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 98.61.
