Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX declined 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were Universal Music Group NV (AS:UMG), which rose 1.71% or 0.47 points to trade at 27.90 at the close. Meanwhile, ASR Nederland NV (AS:ASRNL) added 1.68% or 0.86 points to end at 52.08 and Koninklijke KPN NV (AS:KPN) was up 1.56% or 0.06 points to 3.78 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Adyen NV (AS:ADYEN), which fell 2.90% or 44.80 points to trade at 1,497.60 at the close. Randstad NV (AS:RAND) declined 2.82% or 1.18 points to end at 40.71 and Akzo Nobel NV (AS:AKZO) was down 2.30% or 1.42 points to 60.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 63 to 26 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in ASR Nederland NV (AS:ASRNL) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.68% or 0.86 to 52.08.
The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.42% or 0.96 to $66.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.30% or 0.92 to hit $70.03 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.49% or 43.99 to trade at $2,990.79 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.21% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 103.75.
