Musk Tweets Tesla Is Defying Authorities, Restarting California Production

Investing.com - Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) is restarting production at its California plant in defiance of Alameda County rules, CEO Elon Musk Tweeted Monday.

“Tesla is restarting production today against Alameda County rules,” Musk Tweeted. “I will be on the line with everyone else. If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me.”

Shares of Tesla edged down 0.2% in after-hours trading.
