Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Forestry & Paper and Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.98%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which rose 8.66% or 1.83 points to trade at 22.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Auto Nejma (CS:NEJ1) added 5.42% or 108 points to end at 2100 and Managem (CS:MNG) was up 5.24% or 57 points to 1145 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which fell 8.21% or 11.00 points to trade at 123.00 at the close. Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) declined 6.95% or 1.68 points to end at 22.50 and Timar (CS:TIM) was down 5.98% or 16.45 points to 258.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 28 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.83% or 0.44 to $52.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.47% or 0.26 to hit $55.44 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.25 to trade at $1197.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.31% to 10.7120, while USD/MAD fell 0.01% to 10.0425.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 100.51.
