Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Construction & Building Materials and Forestry & Paper sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which rose 9.20% or 8.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Oulmes (CS:OULM) added 5.95% or 75 points to end at 1335 and Jet Contractors (CS:JET) was up 1.30% or 1.90 points to 147.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which fell 6.99% or 6.84 points to trade at 91.00 at the close. Disway SA (CS:DWY) declined 3.45% or 10.00 points to end at 280.00 and Sonasid (CS:SOND) was down 3.27% or 10 points to 287.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 20 to 8 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oulmes (CS:OULM) rose to all time highs; rising 5.95% or 75 to 1335. Shares in Sonasid (CS:SOND) fell to all time lows; losing 3.27% or 10 to 287.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.89% or 0.96 to $49.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.89% or 0.98 to hit $50.80 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.30% or 3.85 to trade at $1263.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.17% to 10.7780, while USD/MAD rose 0.06% to 9.9082.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 98.78.
