Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Holding Companies and Invest Companies & Other Finance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Snep (CS:SNP), which rose 10.00% or 24.10 points to trade at 265.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Involys (CS:INV) added 5.74% or 5.80 points to end at 106.80 and Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) was up 3.88% or 4.55 points to 121.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA), which fell 6.12% or 1.50 points to trade at 23.00 at the close. Taslif (CS:TSF1) declined 6.00% or 1.78 points to end at 27.89 and Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT) was down 4.34% or 68 points to 1500.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 21 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Taslif (CS:TSF1) fell to 3-years lows; falling 6.00% or 1.78 to 27.89.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.35% or 0.71 to $53.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.85% or 0.47 to hit $55.70 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.25% or 3.05 to trade at $1212.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.06% to 10.7570, while USD/MAD fell 0.10% to 9.9891.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 100.11.
