Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Disway SA (CS:DWY), which rose 6.71% or 24.70 points to trade at 393.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) added 5.93% or 8.00 points to end at 143.00 and Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS:AGMA) was up 5.71% or 137 points to 2537 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Snep (CS:SNP), which fell 6.15% or 8.20 points to trade at 125.20 at the close. Afriquia Gaz (CS:AGAZ1) declined 5.66% or 138 points to end at 2300 and Taslif (CS:TSF1) was down 5.63% or 1.79 points to 30.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 26 to 21 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.12% or 0.06 to $48.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $49.10 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.92% or 23.25 to trade at $1187.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.14% to 10.6740, while USD/MAD rose 0.57% to 10.1160.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.61% at 101.71.
